How to install xbox slim hard drive

I have Demon installed and was looking at my possibilities for upgrading my GB drive. Thank you for any suggestions. I'm not sure on the actual size limit, however i seem to remember over 2TB and you would have issues.

Thanks for your feedback. However, you may have to perform a license transfer so you can use items from your old console on your new one. You will need to re-install from disc any games that you installed to HDD, because the images are hashed to the console they were installed on.

Also if you want all users to be able to use your content on the Xbox you would need to perform a License Transfer. The most time consuming part is that the license transfer may require you to delete and redownload all downloaded content for it to take full effect.

My Xbox slim gb has recently broke and im buying a new 4gb xbox slim. Can i just take the hard drive out of my gb console and just put it into the 4gb xbox or is there some process to doing it. Do i have to buy something to transfer my stuff from my old xbox to my new one? I skipped the update and attempted to go into my hard drive to remove some stuff, only to see that my drive is reading as unformatted. At this point, I also notice that my profile is gone. After researching the problem online, It seems that the internal 4gb hard drive has become corrupted.

I attempt to reformat it, but no matter what it is still reading as unformatted. So I go out, buy a gb drive, slap it into the console.

Updates are applied, but the internal 4gb drive is still unformatted. I install Skyrim on the new drive just fine, but when I try to install the expansion content from disk 2, the box freezes up after it asks me to install an update.
